Term 2 check in:

  • Did you use the “intentional teaching audit” to design your provocation strategies for this year? If not – there is still time!

Section 2 – Preschool Members resources

  • How did you go “noticing and naming” your learners as mathematicians in term one? Are you starting to hear your learners use and notice this language? Are they starting to notice when they are acting and thinking as mathematicians?

Section 2/4 – Preschool Members resources

  • Did you move onto exploring the “Algebra” drawer of mathematics (as described in three of the Learning Processes) – Noticing, Comparing and being a User of Pattern?

       This would continue to be a key focus for the beginning of term two.
